Fireworks

Let's get this pyromaniac party started

Nate thinks the sparkler is something he can blow out.
Now he's getting the hang of this.  Good practice before the sun goes down.

All the neighbors and friends chipped in, I hate to say it, but I think we had too many fireworks.  The show went on and on and on and on.....

Boom
Boom Boom

Fireworks, glow sticks and a sad boy because everyone wants to light the same firework and no one wants to wait their turn.  When he was playing with his sparkler, he tried to light Jimmy on fire.  I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but enough for a good time out.

Relegated to just watching.  I love the reflection in the neighbor's window of the fireworks.
The "other" Green's sitting in the driveway taking in the show.  Of course the little ones were already past their bed time and starting to get a bit grumpy and startled with the noises and explosions.

We did the fireworks on a board between two ladders so there was a little height to the explosions.  Everyone lined up in our driveway to watch, a neighborhood block party at it's finest.
You can see our tiny little water bucket there.  Turns out that was no where near large enough to handle all the stuff we lit off.  We had to go get the big can and fill it with water.
